Notice: Polling Locations
Sharon Dubois, County Clerk, wants to ensure the public is aware there are no Polling Places in each town for the elections this year.
All Colorado voters may now vote at Voter Service and Polling Centers within their county.
Baca County’s Voter Service and Polling Center is located at the Baca County Courthouse, 741 Main, in Springfield. It is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, on Saturday November 5, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm, and Election Day, November 8, from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. You may vote, register to vote, or receive replacements ballots. Ballots may be dropped off at the same location and times. Call the office at 719-523-4372 with any questions.
ALL BALLOTS should be mailed by Friday, November 4, to be received at our office by Tuesday, November 8. Postmarks do not count. They must be received. Only one stamp is required for Baca County Ballots.
The Clerk and Recorders Office is hoping to post unofficial results on Election Night by 8:00 p.m. Results will be posted sooner, if available.
In Colorado, ballots will be processed after Election Day. There are several post-Election Day processes to complete including final correspondence to voters, processing and counting of post-Election Day ballots, plus preparation of elections records for post-election audit and Canvass Board certification. Official results of the election will not be available until after the Canvass Board has certified the election.
