With this program, BCPHA can assist you in quitting smoking and vaping. We can connect you with resources that fit your needs and schedule to ensure the best possible outcome while navigating how to quit smoking or vaping. BCPHA also has an in office (Certified) Freedom from Smoking Facilitator that can provide education to individuals as needed. For more information call 719.523.6621.
BCPHA works with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Child Fatality Prevention System (CDPHE CFPS). CFPS reviews all child deaths in Colorado (ages 0-17), including those that meet CFRT (Colorado Department of Human Services Child Fatality Review Team) criteria, which involve abuse, motor vehicle, neglect, suicide, SUID, undetermined causes, unintentional injuries, and violence.
BCPHA receives funding through a CFPS Grant that allows us to purchase car seats for Baca County residents. For more information, please give us a call at 719.523.6621.
