Routine childhood vaccination services are available to children at a low cost or free. Vaccination of adults is offered for a fee. BCPHA offers immunization services at scheduled clinics or by appointment. For information regarding immunizations visit www.cdc.gov or www.immunize.org.

Private Vaccination Services

These services provide Baca County residents with low cost or free vaccinations. The vaccines that are provided through this service are purchased with county only funding. BCPHA offers immunizations at scheduled clinics or by appointment. For information call BCPHA at 719-523-6621.

VFC (Vaccines for Children) Program

Routine childhood vaccines are provided to children ages 6months – 18 years and 11 months who are not insured or underinsured (Medicaid) for free. Contact Baca County Public Health Agency to determine eligibility.

317 Program

Routine adult vaccines are provided to individuals ages 19 and older who are uninsured or underinsures for free. Contact Baca County Public Health Agency to determine eligibility.

Influenza Vaccine Program

BCPHA offers yearly Influenza vaccination clinics to the public. These services are provided to individual’s ages 6 months and older for free. The typical time we start offering clinics is the month of October. For information about clinic dates or to schedule an appointment call 719.523.6621.

COVID vaccine program

COVID-19 vaccines are available at select times. Contact BCPHA for more information at 719.523.6621.

CIIS (Colorado Immunization Information System)

Baca County Public Health Agency uses the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) for recording and updating of patient immunizations. This is a confidential computerized population-based system that collects immunization data of all persons born, residing in or receiving immunizations in the state of Colorado.
