Blood Pressure Checks
Blood pressure checks are offered at BCPHA to the public, this is a free of charge service. We offer tracking sheets and can get you information on maintaining a healthy blood pressure. If you are experiencing any signs or symptoms of high blood pressure or other health problems you should contact your primary care provider and/or go to the emergency room.
Diabetes Education and Information
Diabetes is a chronic disease that affects how your body turns food into energy. There are three main types of diabetes: type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes (diabetes while pregnant). BCPHA offers education and information in regards to diabetes, we also offer diabetic journals, cookbooks, and other resources.
Heart Health
Keeping your heart healthy is important. BCPHA offers education and information in regards to heart health, we also offer cookbooks and other resources.
