The Community Service Block Grant Program helps Baca County residents in need of medical assistance; including Vision, dental, hearing aids or other qualifying needs.
The Community Service Block Grant emergency funding assists with ; utility cut off notices, emergency food assistance, and long distance travel vouchers for medical appointments.
CSBG Program is available to all eligible Baca County Residents regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or sexual orientation.
Medical vouchers will pay up to $400/per person. The funding is available per person per year excluding eye glasses and corrective lenses which is limited to every two years.
Emergency fund vouchers are limited to one time per year. Emergency utility bill voucher is up to $250.
Emergency food assistance will help with/up to $150 per year in increments of $50 twice within six months.
Transportation for long distance travel for medical needs will help with $150.00 per year.
Qualifications are measured by the CSBG program requirements. Currently the Federal guidelines are at 200% of the FPL this applies to all services provided using the CSBG funding.
